Yoga - a balm for body, mind and soul
Yoga has saved me more times than I can count. It saves me every day.
At the beginning of the day, yoga gets my blood flowing and awakens me to the beauty of the day to come. At the end of the day, it helps me release whatever stress I might have taken on and prepares me for a restful sleep. After a long day’s drive while on the road, it works the kinks out of my body and refreshes every part of me. If I’m feeling a little blue or out of sorts, it lifts my spirits.
No matter what the situation, yoga invariably serves as a balm to my soul.
Yoga has also helped me heal - body, mind and soul - from each and every challenge I have had in my life - cancer, divorce, job loss, heartbreak, the challenges of single parenting, or just a stressful day - you name it, yoga has been there to help me heal. Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
Yoga is good for the body, yes. In more ways than I can count. But it is so much more. It is an entire system that addresses each and every part of who we are - at the very deepest level.
Yoga is a life-long journey, an exploration into and an eventual unveiling of who we are at our core - beautiful, radiant, powerful beings who are meant to shine our brightest light out into the world.
Yoga is a path to greater peace, happiness, joy - and whole being health.
I hope you will join me on the path!

Who can Practice yoga?
Yoga is for every body. It starts exactly where you are - no matter where that is!
You do not have to be flexible - but yoga will help you become more so.
You do not have to be thin and/or young. Although yoga will increase your vitality, making you feel younger - and can assist you in weight loss, if that is your desire.
Every body can do yoga.
If you can breathe, you can do yoga!
my approach/philosophy
As an ovarian cancer survivor, I know what it means to find a way to more vibrancy and light. I am dedicated to helping you become your healthiest and most radiant self by assisting you in learning how to truly care for yourself and to see the beauty, grace and magic in every moment—even in times of challenge.
I know yoga can assist us in doing just that - allowing us to find comfort and wellbeing in our physical bodies, while also gently opening us to awareness about ourselves and others and our relationship to and interconnectedness with all of creation.
It is my deepest desire to help the world find healing through the unveiling of the heart and the letting go of the things that divide. Teaching yoga allows me this sacred opportunity.
