Your Year of Living Mindfully: A Meditation and Mindfulness Retreat for Women

I invite you to join me at the beginning of this new year as we explore the timeless and powerful practice of mindfulness together - and how to apply this transformative way of living to our lives so that we might step into the new year as our best possible selves.

This retreat will help you to:

  • Begin your new year with powerful clarity

  • Rest, restore and rejuvenate your whole being

  • Find greater happiness and serenity

  • Learn tools to bring awareness and focus to your life

  • Practice meditation techniques that will enhance your ability to be mindful

  • Develop meaningful connections with like-minded souls

Learning how to live more mindfully can move us into a more meaningful and rewarding way of living.

A way of living that is focused, powerful, and fulfilling. A way of living that brings deeper peace, satisfaction, happiness, joy. A way of living that allows us to be at ease with the world around us - even in times of chaos and uncertainty.

Now, more than ever, this kind of clarity and inner peace is needed. Developing this inner awareness and peace is the key to being able to truly make a difference in our lives—and the world.

Music and yoga will be incorporated into the weekend as an additional way to deepen our experience.

This retreat will be held virtually via Zoom, allowing us to gather safely in sacred community with like-minded souls from across the U.S. and beyond.

If you’re hesitant about whether or not an online retreat can provide the kind of intimate setting you’re seeking, I want to assure you, it can. Time and time again as I have taught retreats, courses and workshops online, I hear the same thing: “I’m so surprised at just how effective and nourishing the online setting was! What will our schedule be?

This is the tentative schedule for this year's retreat. Although changes may be made as the time approaches, this will give you a good idea of the flow of the weekend.

ALL TIMES ARE CENTRAL STANDARD TIME

FRIDAY 5:30-6:30 - Flex & Flow Yoga | 7-8:30 - Welcoming Session

SATURDAY 8:30-10: Mindfulness: A Path to Greater Peace and Joy | 10:15-11:30: Morning Yoga | 12-1: Lunch break | 1-3 - Awakening Mindfulness in Your Life | 3-4 - Contemplative Activities / Personal Time | 4:00-5 Closing Circle: Sacred Song & Affirmations

What if I have no yoga experience?

The Friday evening yoga session is optional, but encouraged! All levels – and all bodies – are welcome, including those with no yoga experience. Even just being with us to breathe can bring more benefit than you might imagine! However, if you would rather opt out of yoga, you are welcome to just join us starting with the 7:00 Welcome Session. The most important thing is to do what you feel will best serve and nurture you during this sacred time.

What if my living arrangement does not allow a quiet space?

If your living arrangement does not allow for you to have a quiet space where you can join us, consider reserving an AirBnB in a beautiful and/or quiet setting for the weekend. This is a wonderful option many have chosen and allows you a truly complete retreat experience. You may want to consider this option even if your home is nice and quiet - just to have the time away, free of all distraction. Although joining from the comfort of your own home can also be sweet! Do whatever it is that will allow the weekend to be most nourishing to you.

What if I have to cancel?

In the event of a cancellation, the refund policy is as follows:

  • A full refund (minus an administration fee of $35) will be issued for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the program start date.
  • A 50% refund (minus an administration fee of $35) will be issued for cancellations made 30 days to two weeks prior to the event start date.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the event start date.
  • Please note: 6 people minimum required. In the event this minimum is not met and the retreat is cancelled by the host, registration fees will be refunded in full.
