Restorative yoga encourages release in the body as opposed to stretching or strengthening. Postures will be low to the ground without stress on the joints, muscles, or other tissues. A posture may be held for up to 10 minutes, with a multitude of supportive props to encourage deep physical and mental restoration.
Today’s practice will be a beautiful Winter Solstice Practice, allowing us to honor the darkness of this time of year, even as we look towards the light of the new season. Cindy is honored to be subbing for Amy May for this special class.
